Crenshaw Corridor Aviation

Station Parking Lot

Inglewood + Los Angeles, CA

The Crenshaw/LAX Line was recently a completed mass-transit light rail line project. The line will travel 8.5 miles to the Metro Green Line and will serve the cities of Los Angles, Inglewood and El Segundo; and portions of unincorporated Los Angeles County. The line will run generally north-south and will connect the Crenshaw District and Leimert Park to Inglewood and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The line is part of the Los Angeles County Metro Rail System.

Planned by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority with funding set aside in Measure R, Lynn Capouya, Inc. (LCI) was selected by the WSCC/HNTB design-build team to provide landscape architectural design for five of the designated transit stations: Century/Aviation, Florence/Hindry, Florence/La Brea, Florence/West, and Crenshaw/Slauson. In addition, LCI provided landscape design for the five TPSS facilities and streetscape from Aviation Boulevard to Vernon Avenue, 7.1 miles of the 8.5-mile corridor.
