The ATMP Roadway Improvements Project is part of LAX’s Airfield & Terminal Modernization Project (ATMP) to help reduce airport related congestion and traffic back-ups on surrounding public streets. As part of the ATMP Roadway Improvements Project, LAX is constructing 4.4 miles of replaced and reconfigured roadways to reduce congestion on Sepulveda Boulevard and create dedicated airport roadways for airport traffic queues headed to LAX’s Central Terminal Area (CTA).

Agensys Biotech Facility
Santa Monica, CA
Once a water heater manufacturer and then used as a film set for television, the 160,000 square foot project consolidated the office, research, laboratory and manufacturing of Agensys, which was a biotech company that specialized in therapeutic antibody research and development in cancer. Kite Pharma now occupies the building.
The campus features a pedestrian pathway, a public café, and a public, rotating sculpture garden showcasing art by local artists. Next to the site is Bergamont Station, a facility that houses several art galleries.
LCI worked with the design team to develop the site and sustainability solutions for hardscape and landscape. The City of Santa Monica approved the proposed design at the first ARB review meeting.
The state-of-the art facility was designed to achieve LEED® Silver certification, and emphasized sustainability.
LCI received a Los Angeles Business Council ‘2013 Under Construction Award of Excellence’ for “outstanding architecture and design that significantly enhances the Los Angeles community’s urban environment.”
